The storm chaser and the 5 mana+ spells that it tutors are less good draws you usually only want 1 in hand at any point (since they rely on having a wide board), and drawing extra copies is redundant.īig Mage (52.4% winrate): The gameplan of this deck is pretty simple: AoE the board repeatedly and eventually win with Jaina. Thunderhead is pretty powerful and should usually be kept off the mulligan thanks to its insane potential to clear opposing threats easily (especially with flametoungue totem), as well as being able to set up boards for bloodlust. Like with most token shamans, it relies a lot on using flametoungue totem for favourable trades and damage. Token Shaman (52.5% winrate): This deck relies heavily on getting on board early and has few catchup mechanics, and so the mulligan is extremely important, with firefly being by far the best option. Needless to say, this deck aims to go fast. The two allstar cards in the deck are the two new activators: the necrium blade and the necrium vial (cavern shiny finder is also great thanks to finding the blade on curve). Like the spellhunter, this is also a deck where you aim to finish games fast, even though its powerspikes are fairly late.ĭeathrattle Rogue (53.2% winrate): This is similar to the deathrattle rogue that is currently in tier 1, although it's lacking the burst finish from leeroy cube which puts it down a bit (the lack of cube in particular is pretty disappointing since instantly triggering a cube is a very powerful effect). Sunkeeper Tarim and Silver Sword are really good in this deck so good, in fact, that they have over 67% winrate when kept off the mulligan! That's insane for a card you'll only play in the lategame! If needed, you can also heal fairly effectively with Kangor and vicious scalehide and buffs (note that against aggro, Kangor is an annoyotron that heals you for 4). The only bad card is the crushing walls.Įven Paladin (61.2% winrate): This seems to be a hidden gem, as the only people on ladder that are playing even paladin are Whizbang players. You should aim to finish games fast but if you don't, there's always Rhok'delar and Rexxar to bail you out. Flanking strike is also good as it is the only turn 4 play of the deck. The spellstone is really overpowered so try to mulligan for it as it can carry the game by itself. Spellhunter (61.7% winrate): This is actually the highest winrate spellhunter deck on ladder at the moment.
